Start with the branch you genuinely want to study. A college name alone is not a good choice list.

Keep your rank card and supporting documents ready. During counselling, category and other claims are checked by the allotted institute.

For the 2026 B.Tech baseline, the bulletin states 10+2 eligibility with the permitted subject combination, 45% in the relevant three subjects (40% for listed reserved categories), and at least 30% in English. Specific universities may add their own conditions.
